Teaching moto school pays for Ryan Picards Cop school, hangs with Damon, Sun Yet-Sen, Ping, Scotty & Danny

Ping is grinning ear to ear with LaPorte and Bradshow in tow! Ping was enjoying Fritz’s ’73 440 Maico while Danny roosted on a 360 Yamaha with Damon charging up on Nyblod’s very trick 250 Yamaha from ’72

Everyone with trick bikes dissapeared into their motorhomes when they saw me coming! The ones I caught unawares were quite generous in offering me a ride on there prized bikes. It was an absolute blast riding 8 or so different Vintage offerings and unfortunately some of them squaked groaning up the deep sandy hills. Sorry bro’s!
Dave Kramer’s modest reply to my ride request of “I guess so” was all I needed to fire that puppy up before he got loaners remorse! I admit I’ve been a secret voyuer as he posted his progress as he built up his trick 30 year old museum piece over the last year. I don’t think he knew what hit him as I headed out for the starting line. What a blast! This is the bike that I want to build for England’s Farliegh Castle this September. Honda’s 1980 250 CR chassis grafted with 1983 480 motor. Any help on parts, ideas and cash infusion will get you a cider in the 500 year old Farliegh Castle pub!

Vegas Ortho Darrell Spilsbury’s said “jump on this 1983 RM 250 I ported” it was fast enough to hang with local boy’s 465 Yamaha.

Best twin shock set up award goes to Boise Vintage Cycle for 1984 CR 500 Husqvarna. It’s amazing after so many years riding Husky my DNA just plugged into the 500 like it was yesterday.

Dallas Nyblod built a Gary Jones works replica 250 Yamaha 250 I shared with Bradshaw. Fast like a modern 250 with 4 inches of travel!

Motocross Files Todd Huffman transfered Belgium TV Film from the historic 1981 MXDN race at Lommel, Belium. Danny LaPorte had a buddy that got it from the Begium Station. Knarly rough doesn’t begin to describe Lommel! That being said, a few in the crowd after a few drinks had a little confusion as to where this was. Florida? Everyone had a lot of laughs!

Ed Sims rode to a win on his 1967 360 Husqvarna, a bike that started the motocoss revolution here in the United States!
